Project Overview

The positive destinations project is all about getting young people from around Leeds who are currently NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) to become EET (in Education, Employment & Training).

Project Aimed at:

The project is for 16-18 year olds & has ran out of the Prince Philips Centre since 2017.

 

What To Expect

During a young person's time on the project they will access regular 1-1 support with an outreach worker. This worker will help them with CV building, education/employment applications.

 

With such strong links city-wide with education providers & internally with our own education provider. We will ensure that the young person ends up on a career path right for them, giving them a positive destination.

Who is Eligible

The project is targeted to help 16-18 year olds who are NEET or at risk of becoming NEET. Giving them the 1-1 support they need to ensure they remain on the right tracks and in the correct pathway.

 

Partners

We are partnered with many education providers & employers. We have internal courses in many different areas. These includes Telecommunications, Traineeships (in business, sport & fitness), Construction, Sport, Health & Beauty and Mechanics.
