Chapeltown Juniors u12s’ ‘togetherness’ has been credited as the reason for them qualifying for the Leeds & District Cup Final, by their manager.
The u12s won 5-0 in the semi-final on Sunday 19th March, beating Bradford Warriors.
“I’m more impressed with the togetherness and fighting spirit they [CJFC u12s’ players] seem to have got over the year,” stated the manager.
“[In the semi-final] there was more of a lift in their self-belief as a team. And trust – instead of being individuals, they are growing more as a team now”.
The final takes place on 23rd April at Whitkirk Club, versus Rothwell Juniors.
